{"id":23,"date":"2005-05-16T12:35:23","date_gmt":"2005-05-16T18:35:23","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=23"},"modified":"2005-05-16T12:37:02","modified_gmt":"2005-05-16T18:37:02","slug":"i-have-a-heart-murmur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.brigidsflame.com\/feymorgaina\/blog\/?p=23","title":{"rendered":"I have a heart murmur!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MM,<\/p>\n<p>I recently found out that I have a heart murmur.<\/p>\n<p>While I&#8217;m pretty sure that this is a minor thing, I am having testing to check out if there is anything serious.  So far I&#8217;ve done a blood test and an electrocardiogram (ECG).  Tuesday, I&#8217;m going to have an echocardiogram done.  Since I found out about the heart murmur while trying to get into a medical study, I&#8217;m pretty sure the blood test and ECG will be fine.  I&#8217;m not quite sure how an echocardiogram works and how the results are interpreted but I think the odds are there isn&#8217;t anything terribly wrong with my heart.   I&#8217;ve been doing martial arts so far for almost 6 years and nothing serious has happened to me (aside from the knee injury).
